Recently Released Critical Drivers - Read Only.Recently Released Service Tips - Read Only.Is that correct?ДЄnyone have any possible solutions or sugestions for me to simply clone my windows partition? I read somewhere (can't remember where now) that this laptop won't work unless the drive is partitioned into GPT. I have enabled Legacy boot support, but nothing. It boots from there and reads the SSD like a normal drive (that's where I am right now)Д¤) I figured I'd at least try formating the SSD with the USB stick I created at first, but it gives me an error message (picture attached).ДҐ) Right now, I'll try creating a new USB recovery, in a new USB stick. The BIOS sees my SSD, but can't boot from it, even though that SSD only has the Windows partition from my HDD.ДЈ) I installed the caddy on the ODD drive and added the original HDD. However, since I didn't want to spend a lot of time installing everything again (too much work this week), I decided to clone my system partition to the SSD (I used EaseUS Todo Backup).Дў) After cloned, I removed my HDD and installed the SSD in its place. Just wanted to update on the status of my SSD installation:ДЎ) I created the USB recovery drive.

Just wanted to be certain.Дў) Does this recovery partition relies on already having the system on the HDD? Or, if I remove the HDD with the recovery partition and install a blank one, will the USB recovery drive that I created using those steps still install Windows correctly?ДЈ) This recovery partition is affected by windows update? I mean, does windows update 'embed' its updates in the recovery partition or will I get a 'fresh from the box' install? I have seen the following article on backing up my laptop's recovery partition:ДЎ) Regarding activation, will anything change? Since I'll be creating the recovery from my computer's partition, I don't think I'll have any problems with that. That said, I have a SSD and caddy available, which i'll use to swap with my optical drive. I have been having problems with my wifi connection since one of Windows 10's updates and want to do a fresh install of windows, to start over from scratch.
